Faces of America: The Immigration Crisis

Faces of America: The Immigration Crisis

Really excited to have two of my sculptures — both featuring found baseballs and wood — in Dal Ray Artisans’ latest show, Tell Me A Story. Each piece in the show takes the viewer on an imaginative story, though in my case, the stories are ones of a political and social justice nature. How exactly do baseballs tell those kinds of stories? You’ll just have to see the show and decide for yourself. By the way, I was extra excited when I dropped of my pieces only to be asked to hang my 50-baseball sculpture, Faces of America: The Immigration Crisis, in the first spot just inside the doorway and visible from the street. How cool is that!

Groundskeeper, one of my two works in the show

Woo-hoo! I’m really excited to announce that two of my sculptures were chosen for the upcoming Konda vs. Chaos Exhibit at Del Ray Artisans in Alexandria. I’ve never been in one of their shows so I’m really looking forward to seeing how my work fits in (or doesn’t). If you’re planning on attending, probably a good idea to make sure your tetanus shot is up to date. ; )
